Enabling the Glow Loyalty integration in your Shopify checkout allows you to enhance the customer experience by displaying loyalty points and rewards directly after purchase. This keeps customers engaged, encourages repeat purchases, and increases the visibility of your loyalty program right where it matters most—at checkout.
Follow these steps to enable the Glow Loyalty Points & Rewards app within the Shopify checkout experience:
Step 1: Access the Shopify Theme Editor
Log in to your Shopify store admin.
Navigate to Online Store > Themes.
Click on Customize next to the theme you want to edit.
In the theme editor, open the Thank You page template from the dropdown at the top of the page.
Step 2: Identify Incompatible Apps
If there are any incompatible apps currently in use, you will see a message at the top of the screen saying, “Replace your incompatible apps with app blocks, then publish to make them visible to customers.”
Click publish when ready
Step 3: Enable the Glow Loyalty App Blocks
On the left-hand side, under the Thank you page, click Add app block (bottom of the page).
In the available blocks list, locate Glow: Loyalty Points & Rewards.
Add the appropriate block for the Thank You page.
Switch to the Order Status page and add the order status block (if needed).
Merchants on Shopify Plus can also add the checkout extension. This allows customers to view and redeem rewards right at the checkout screen.
Step 4: Publish the Changes
After confirming that your setup looks good in preview mode, click Publish.
The new configuration will go live, allowing your customers to see loyalty points earned and other Glow rewards directly in the Shopify checkout experience.
Thats it! Your customers will now see their points directly on these Shopify pages!
