Need to take a breather from rewards—seasonal break, inventory crunch, or site maintenance? You can pause Glow in a few clicks. Pausing is reversible and doesn’t delete data.
What “Pause” Does
Earning stops: Orders and actions won’t accrue points while paused.
Redeeming stops: Customers can’t apply rewards/discounts at checkout.
Widgets/launcher: The customer-facing launcher and on-store widgets are hidden.
Data is safe: Members, points balances, tiers, and analytics are preserved.
Automations: Program emails and point-issuing automations are suspended.
Pause the Program
In the Glow app, go to Home.
Click the Pause button (⏸) in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
Confirm the prompt to pause the program.
That’s it—your program status will switch to Paused.
Resume the Program
Return to Home in Glow.
Click Resume (▶) in the same top-right control.
Confirm to bring earning, redeeming, and widgets back online.
FAQs
Will customers lose points? No. All points, tiers, and history remain intact.
Do past orders earn points when I resume? No. Orders placed while paused do not retro-earn.
Can admins still view data? Yes. You retain full admin access to members, rewards, and reports.
Can I pause specific features only? Use the global Pause for a full stop; for partial changes, disable individual earning rules or rewards instead.
Best Practices
Add a brief banner or note on your site explaining the pause to avoid confusion.
Pause during low-traffic windows when possible.
Before resuming, review any pending promotions to ensure they’re still correct.
