Using Glow, you can offer a variety of rewards, including custom discounts, free shipping, and free products.

Glow allows you to create custom rewards to encourage your customers to shop even more. These rewards include fixed-dollar discounts, percentage-based discounts, free shipping, or even a free product.

When creating a reward, you can set the reward's cost and value. The cost is how many points the customer needs to redeem to unlock the reward. The reward value is how much the customer can save on their purchase.

Reward Settings and Configuration

Name Your Reward

Give your reward a name. This will be shown to your customers and can be used by you as a reference.

Reward Cost

Set the number of points required to redeem this reward. You can also see the total spent required to qualify for the reward, based on your points earning rules.

Reward Value

You can set a reward to be:

  • Fixed Amount Off

  • Percentage Off

  • Free Shipping

  • Automatic Product Order

Reward Restrictions

Rewards can apply to any purchase in your store, or you can decide to limit it to a specific product, collection, or price range. For example, you can:

  • Restrict rewards to apply only to a single product, such as a specific item you want to promote.

  • Limit rewards to a specific collection, like seasonal or sale items.

  • Set a minimum order value for the reward to be applicable, encouraging customers to spend more to qualify for the discount.

Reward Usage

This setting can be a bit tricky, so here’s a breakdown:

  1. How many times can the reward be redeemed?
This option defines the number of times the customer can "purchase" the reward using their points. For example, you can set it to "Unlimited" to allow customers to redeem the reward as many times as they have enough points.

  2. Once redeemed, how many times can the customer use the discount?
This option specifies how many times the customer can use the discount code once they have redeemed the reward. For example, if set to "1," the discount code can only be applied to a single order.

Purchase Type

Set whether the discount code applies to:

  • One-time purchases only

  • Subscription purchases only

  • Both one-time and subscription purchases

Discount Combinations

Decide whether the discounts generated from this reward can be combined with:

  • Order discounts

  • Product discounts

  • Shipping discounts

Discount Code Prefix

Optionally, set a prefix for the generated discount codes. This is useful for tracking which codes were created from which rewards.

VIP Tier Restriction

You can restrict rewards to specific VIP tiers. This allows you to make certain rewards available only to customers who belong to a specific loyalty tier. For example, you might offer exclusive discounts or perks to higher-tier customers as an incentive for them to stay engaged with your program.

To set this restriction, choose the desired VIP tier when configuring the reward. Only customers in that tier will be able to see and redeem the reward.

How It Works

When a customer redeems their reward, Glow will create a custom discount code just for them. They can use this code during checkout to claim their reward.
