Glow does not provide custom development services. That helps our team stay focused on maintaining and improving the loyalty app for all merchants.

If you need something custom, you still have a few good options:

  • Use Glow's built-in settings if the feature already exists.

  • Use the Glow API and webhooks if you or your developer want to build an integration.

  • Hire a Shopify developer if you need custom theme work, a private app, or a custom workflow outside Glow's built-in tools.

Use Glow's API and webhooks

Glow's API can be used to connect Glow with your own software, build custom reports, or connect Glow to other apps. The API docs include available endpoints, authentication details, sample JSON responses, and PHP examples.

Helpful developer links:

If your developer is not sure whether a workflow is possible, send Glow support a short summary of what you want to build. We can point you toward the right API, webhook, setting, or article when one exists.

Hire a Shopify developer

If you are not a developer, you can hire a Shopify developer to build custom work for your store.

Glow's existing custom-development article points merchants to Storetasker, a marketplace for hiring Shopify experts:

Before hiring a developer, write down:

  • What should trigger the custom behavior.

  • What should happen after it is triggered.

  • Which Shopify, Glow, or third-party data the developer needs.

  • Whether the work needs to use the storefront widget, Shopify theme code, the API, webhooks, or another app.

  • How you will test the work before customers see it.

What Glow support can help with

Glow support can help you understand native Glow settings, confirm where to find API keys and webhook settings, and point you to relevant documentation.

Glow support cannot build or maintain custom code for your store, theme, or private integrations.

Common questions

Can Glow build a custom integration for my store?

No. Glow does not provide custom development services.

Can Glow tell me whether a custom workflow is possible?

Usually, yes. Send support a short description of the workflow. We can point to the closest built-in feature, API endpoint, webhook event, or limitation.

Can I use the API on every plan?

API and webhook access can depend on your Glow plan. Check your current plan and the API/Webhooks article before starting development work.

Can Glow troubleshoot my developer's custom code?

Glow can help verify expected Glow behavior and point to the relevant docs. Your developer is responsible for custom code, theme changes, and third-party integration logic.
