How do I export loyalty members and point activity?

Use Glow exports when you need a CSV report for your members, point activity, discount activity, or referral activity. Member exports are emailed to the account owner when the CSV is ready. Activity exports download from the activity page you are viewing.

Before you start

  • Exports can include customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, referral codes, discount codes, and point balances. Store exported CSV files securely.

  • Member exports may take a few minutes for larger stores. You can keep using Glow while the export runs.

  • Glow can process one member export at a time for your account.

  • Activity exports use the selected date range: last 7 days, last 30 days, or last 90 days.

Export members

Use Settings > Export when you want a CSV of your current Glow loyalty members and selected member fields.

  1. In Glow, go to Settings > Export.

  2. Review the Member Export field list.

  3. Leave a field checked if you want it included in the CSV.

  4. Click a field to turn it off if you do not want it included.

  5. Click Export CSV.

  6. Watch for an email from Glow with the CSV attachment.

The member export can include:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Birthday

  • Birth Year

  • Email

  • Phone

  • Shopify ID

  • Point Balance

  • Lifetime Points

  • Created At

  • Updated At

  • Referral Code

  • Referred By

  • Multiplier

  • Excluded From Loyalty

  • Current VIP Tier ID

  • Current VIP Tier Name

  • VIP Tier

Glow also includes the internal member ID in the CSV.

Export point activity

Use Analytics > Points Activity when you want a CSV of recent point events, such as points earned, redeemed, adjusted, expired, refunded, or related to product rewards.

  1. In Glow, go to Analytics > Points Activity.

  2. Choose last 7 days, last 30 days, or last 90 days.

  3. Click Export.

  4. Save the downloaded CSV file.

The point activity CSV includes columns for member name, email, point activity type, points, related order IDs, product reward ID, email sent status, and date in UTC.

Export discount activity

Use Analytics > Discount Activity when you want a CSV of recent discount codes issued by Glow.

  1. In Glow, go to Analytics > Discount Activity.

  2. Choose last 7 days, last 30 days, or last 90 days.

  3. Click Export.

The discount activity CSV includes member name, email, discount code, discount name, status, and created date in UTC.

Export referral activity

Use Analytics > Referral Stats when you want a CSV of recent referred members.

  1. In Glow, go to Analytics > Referral Stats.

  2. Choose last 7 days, last 30 days, or last 90 days.

  3. Click Export.

The referral activity CSV includes member name, email, VIP tier, multiplier, referral code they were referred by, point balance, and created date in UTC.

How to confirm the export worked

For member exports:

  1. Check the email address used for your Glow account.

  2. Open the email with the subject [Glow] Member export attached.

  3. Download the CSV attachment.

  4. Confirm the columns match the fields you selected.

For activity exports:

  1. Confirm your browser downloaded a CSV file.

  2. Open the CSV in a spreadsheet app.

  3. Confirm the filename matches the export type and date range, such as points-activity-30-days.csv.

Common issues

I clicked Export CSV but nothing downloaded

Member exports are emailed when ready. They do not download immediately from the browser.

I started a member export and cannot start another one

Glow allows one queued or processing member export at a time. Wait for the first export email before starting another export.

The CSV is missing a member field

Go back to Settings > Export and make sure the field is checked before you click Export CSV.

Activity rows are missing from the export

Check the date range. Activity exports only include the last 7, 30, or 90 days, depending on the option you choose.

The dates do not match my local timezone

Activity export date columns use UTC. Member export Created At and Updated At fields are formatted in the CSV, but you should still confirm date handling before using exports for accounting, compliance, or payroll-style reporting.

I do not see the export email

Check spam or promotions folders, then confirm you are checking the email address used for the Glow account. If the export never arrives, contact Glow support and include the approximate time you started the export.
