If you are in a sensitive or highly-regulated industry, you may want to store as little customer data with third-party apps as possible. Although Glow does require customer email address at a minimum, there are other user data such as first and last name, which we will pull down from Shopify by default.

You can prevent Glow from storing any customer info other than their email address by navigating to "Settings > Account Settings > Advanced Settings" and select "No" for  "Save User Information".

Then click "Save".

Note that this will only prevent Glow from pulling information from Shopify. So if you, for instance, enable Birthday points in Glow, we will still present the customer with the option to enter and store their birthday.
