How do I add my logo to Glow?

Choose the right logo setting

Glow has a few branding fields that sound similar:

  • Logo Upload adds an image logo to Glow.

  • Logo Text (Alternative) shows text instead of an image in the Modern widget header.

  • Launcher Icon controls the circular button customers click to open the loyalty widget.

  • points Icon controls the icon used beside point values.

For most stores, start with Logo Upload.

Add a logo image

  1. In Glow, go to Settings > Account Settings.

  2. Open the Design tab.

  3. In the Logo section, click Choose File under Logo Upload.

  4. Select your logo file. Transparent PNGs work best, and JPGs also work.

  5. Click Save Settings.

Use logo text instead of an image

If you use the Modern widget and want text in the widget header instead of an image, enter that text in Logo Text (Alternative) and click Save Settings.

Logo text only applies to the Modern widget. If Logo Text (Alternative) has a value, the Modern widget shows that text instead of the uploaded logo image.

Where your logo appears

Your uploaded logo can appear in several Glow surfaces:

  • Default Glow email templates

  • The Modern widget header, unless Logo Text (Alternative) is set

  • The Pop Up widget guest/login view

  • Embedded point-history or rewards areas that include the Glow logo area

If you have customized your email HTML, your custom template controls whether the logo appears. Review the email preview after changing your logo.

Remove your logo

After a logo has been uploaded, Glow shows a Remove Logo checkbox in the same Logo section.

To remove the uploaded image:

  1. Go to Settings > Account Settings > Design.

  2. Check Remove Logo.

  3. Click Save Settings.

If you also added Logo Text (Alternative), clear that field too if you do not want text to appear in the Modern widget header.

Common issues

I added a logo, but the Modern widget shows text instead

Clear Logo Text (Alternative) and save again. In the Modern widget, logo text takes priority over the uploaded logo image.

I changed my launcher icon, but my widget header did not change

The launcher icon and logo are separate settings. Use Logo Upload for the widget and email logo. Use Launcher Icon only for the circular storefront launcher button.

My email preview does not show the new logo

Open Settings > Email Templates and preview one of your emails. If you use custom email HTML, make sure the template still includes the logo area.

I do not see my logo on the storefront right away

Save the Design tab, refresh your storefront, and reopen the loyalty widget. If the widget still does not show, confirm the Glow app embed is enabled in your Shopify theme.
