Yes! When you install Glow into your Shopify store, you'll be able to add Glow as a tile in your POS system. This makes it easy to redeem rewards for your customers, all without ever leaving the POS app.
To create a Glow tile, go to your Shopify POS app and click the "Add tile" button:
Then select 'app' from the menu:
Next select Glow from the app menu:
There are two options for glow tiles. The Action tile is what allows you to redeem the rewards on checkout (select that option).
You should now see the Glow icon on the POS homepage and can begin redeeming rewards.
However, you may want to repeat the process to also add the app website as a tile.
This isn't required but gives you easy access to the glow admin portal from within the POS. (IE adjusting a customer's points or adding a new reward).
Once you select a customer you can click on the app tile to see the point balance and what rewards are available:
When you choose a reward, this will create a discount code for the customer. The points from the customer's balance and send out an email (if you have it enabled), letting them know their points were redeemed.
Make sure to click on the discount tab to apply the code that was just redeemed.
If the customer changes their mind or backs out of the transaction the code will still be there for next time. The customer could also use it on your online store.
Legacy POS instructions:
To use the app inside Shopify POS, you'll need to select a customer, then click the "..." and select "Loyalty Rewards" - this will bring up the customer's current point balance and all eligible rewards they can redeem the points for.
When you choose a reward, we'll apply the discount or product to the cart, deduct the points from the customer's balance and send out an email (if you have it enabled), letting them know their points were redeemed.
