With Glow, you can translate every aspect of your member's experience, including Glow's member-facing widget and all the email notifications. This can be done from the account settings menu under the Translation section.

From the Translate section, you will be able to view and translate all of the text in your member-facing widget as well as emails, to match your site's language and mirror your company's "lingo."

In the screenshot below, you can see the "Global" section, which corresponds to the language used throughout your Glow member-facing widget.

After the Global translations, you will find additional sections for "Navigation," "Redeem," "Earn," and "Type."

The Navigation section allows you to replace or translate the language used in the Navigation Menu of your member-facing Glow widget.

The Redeem section allows you to replace or translate the language used when members redeem Glow Points.

The Earn section allows you to replace or translate the language used to explain to your members the various ways they can earn more points on Glow.

The Referral section allows you to replace or translate the language used in the referral's section of your member-facing Glow widget.

After the Referral Section, the remaining sections of Glow's Translation feature corresponds to emails sent to your members. Each section corresponds to a different email sent from Glow to your members.

After the Email section, you will find a "Months" and "Unsubscribe" section. The months/unsubscribe sections allow you to translate, or replace, each corresponding month and change the unsubscribe language used on Glow's widget or emails.

The final section of the Glow 's Translation feature corresponds to Program Rules, which is optional. If you put content into the program rules section it will add a new link and menu item to the customer-facing widget that displays the content you provide in this section.

Translation Variables

Words wrapped in { } are variables that will be replaced with real values when shown to customers. You might have noticed how there are variables that are wrapped in { } which will correspond to real values when shown to customers.

For instance, "{points_name}" will be changed to "Points" when shown to members.

Note: Variables should NOT be translated if you want the values to be dynamically updated and displayed to customers. Variables should always be written in English.

We hope this guide has been helpful in explaining the basics of setting up Glow's translation feature. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team 24/7 via the live chat icon in the app and on our website.
