Uninstall Glow from Shopify Admin > Settings > Apps when you want to cancel your Glow account and remove the loyalty program from your store. Shopify sends the uninstall notice to Glow, future Glow app billing stops through Shopify, and Glow closes the account.
Before you uninstall
Export any member or point activity data you want to keep before uninstalling.
Only uninstall when you are ready to remove your Glow account data. After the uninstall is processed, Glow member records, point balances, rewards, settings, API keys, webhooks, and other loyalty data are removed from the Glow account.
If you only want to stop a paid plan but keep Glow installed, use Subscription in Glow to downgrade to the free plan instead of uninstalling.
If you want to keep your setup but temporarily stop customers from using the program, pause the loyalty program instead of uninstalling.
Uninstall Glow in Shopify
In Shopify Admin, go to Settings.
Click Apps.
Find Glow: Loyalty Points & Rewards.
Open the More actions menu.
Click Uninstall.
Review Shopify's confirmation carefully, then confirm only if you are ready to cancel the account.
What happens after uninstalling
Shopify notifies Glow that the app was uninstalled. Glow then closes the account and removes the loyalty data connected to that Shopify store.
The loyalty widget, rewards launcher, and Glow storefront features stop working after the app is removed. Any Shopify pages, navigation links, or theme content you created manually for your loyalty program may still remain in Shopify.
Optional cleanup in Shopify
After uninstalling, check your storefront for any manual loyalty links or pages you no longer need.
Common places to review:
Header or footer menu links named Rewards, Loyalty, or VIP
Shopify pages you created for loyalty information
Theme sections or custom buttons that opened the Glow widget
Billing notes
Glow app billing is managed through Shopify. Uninstalling the app stops future Glow app charges according to Shopify's billing rules. Any proration, refunds, or already-issued Shopify invoices are handled by Shopify.
Common issues
I still see a Rewards or Loyalty page after uninstalling
Glow cannot remove Shopify pages or navigation links that were created manually. Delete those pages or menu links in Shopify if you no longer want customers to see them.
I want to come back to Glow later
Export your loyalty data before uninstalling if you may need it later. Once the uninstall cleanup runs, the original Glow account data cannot be restored from the merchant dashboard.
I only want to stop customers from using the program for now
Pause the loyalty program instead. Pausing keeps your account and settings in place while stopping the customer-facing loyalty experience.
