How does Glow pricing work?

Glow plans are based on the number of active members in your loyalty program and the features you need.

Glow plans are based on the number of active members in your loyalty program and the features you need.

An active member is a customer with a Glow point balance above 0. Customers with 0 points do not count toward your active member limit.

Short answer

Glow includes a free plan for stores with up to 50 active members. Paid plans increase the number of active members your loyalty program can support and unlock the paid-plan feature set shown in Glow.

You can review or change your plan in Settings > Subscription.

What counts as an active member?

An active member is a customer whose current point balance is greater than 0.

For example:

  • A customer with 25 points counts as an active member.

  • A customer with 0 points does not count as an active member.

  • A customer can appear in your member list without counting toward your active member limit.

Your total Shopify customer count and your Glow active member count may be different.

What is limited on the free plan?

The free plan is useful for getting started, but some features are limited on free accounts.

Examples of free-plan-limited features include:

  • Advanced email customization.

  • Klaviyo integration.

  • API access.

  • Webhooks.

  • Some widget design and CSS customization options.

How billing works

Glow subscriptions are billed through Shopify.

When you choose a paid plan, Shopify handles the billing approval flow. The Glow subscription charge appears with your Shopify app charges.

If your store is eligible, the subscription page may show a free trial before the paid subscription begins.

Glow does not add separate hidden fees inside the app. The subscription page describes Glow as a monthly subscription and shows the plan price before you choose a plan.

Can I change plans?

Yes. You can change plans from Settings > Subscription.

Upgrade when:

  • Your active member count is close to your current plan limit.

  • Your store needs a feature that is limited on the free plan.

  • Customers are unable to redeem because the account is over its active member limit.

  • You are launching a larger loyalty program and want room to grow.

Downgrade or continue on the free plan when your loyalty program has up to 50 active members and you do not need the free-plan-limited features.

How to check or change your plan

  1. In Glow, go to Settings > Subscription.

  2. Review the plan cards and your active member needs.

  3. Select the plan that fits your store.

  4. Confirm the plan through Shopify's billing flow.

  5. Return to Glow after Shopify confirms the charge.

If a paid-plan feature still appears locked after you upgrade, reload Glow or reopen the app from Shopify admin.
