Which Glow plan should I choose?

Choose your Glow plan based on two things:

  • How many active members your loyalty program needs to support.

  • Whether you need features that are limited on the free plan.

An active member is a customer with a point balance above 0. Customers with 0 points do not count toward your active member limit.

Start with your active member count

Glow's plan limits are based on active members, not total Shopify customers.

What is limited on the free plan?

The free plan is useful for getting started, but some advanced features are limited.

Examples of features that are limited or upgrade-gated on the free plan include:

  • Advanced email template customization.

  • Custom CSS and some widget design controls.

  • Klaviyo integration.

  • API access.

  • Webhooks.

The paid plan cards in Glow show All Features Included. If a feature page shows an Upgrade button or says it is available on paid plans, move to a paid plan before relying on that feature for your launch.

How billing works

Glow subscriptions are billed through Shopify.

When you choose a paid plan, the charge is handled through Shopify's billing flow and appears with your Shopify app charges.

If your store is eligible, the subscription page may offer a free trial before the paid charge starts.

When to upgrade

Upgrade when:

  • Your active member count is close to your current plan limit.

  • Customers cannot redeem because the store has more active members than the plan allows.

  • You need a feature that is limited on the free plan.

  • You are launching a larger program and want room to grow.

Glow also shows a dashboard warning if your store exceeds the number of active members supported by your plan.

When the free plan is enough

The free plan can be enough when:

  • You are testing Glow before launch.

  • You have up to 50 active members.

  • You do not need the free-plan-limited features yet.

If your program grows later, you can upgrade from the subscription page.

Check your current plan

To review or change your plan:

  1. In Glow, open Settings > Subscription.

  2. Review your active member limit and current plan.

  3. Choose the plan that matches your program size and feature needs.

  4. Confirm the plan through Shopify's billing flow.

  5. Return to Glow and reload the app if a paid-plan feature still appears locked.
