If you are experiencing spam accounts being created by bots, you can use the Recaptcha tools in Shopify to help reduce this problem. By enabling ReCaptcha, you can add an extra layer of security to your store's registration and login processes, which can help prevent bots from creating spam accounts. To enable ReCaptcha in Shopify, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Shopify account and go to the "Online Store" section of your dashboard.

  2. In the "Online Store" menu, click on the "Preferences" option.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Enable captcha" checkbox to enable this feature for your store.

This should help reduce the number of spam signups. If you have a ton of bogus accounts, please reach out to our support team. If you can provide us a CSV of the customer's email addresses, we can reset their points to zero, so they don't count as an active member.
