How it works
Facebook
• Actions you can reward: Like / Follow and Share a link
• Customer journey: They engage on Facebook → click Claim Points in your widget
Instagram
• Actions you can reward: Follows
• Customer journey: They follow on Instagram → Claim Points
TikTok
• Actions you can reward: Follow
• Customer journey: They follow on TikTok → Claim Points
X (Twitter)
• Actions you can reward: Follow and share
• Customer journey: They follow or share on X → Claim Points
Good Faith Policy
Social platforms do not typically expose verification APIs. Points are granted on the honor system: if a shopper says they completed an action, the widget lets them claim the reward. This keeps the experience friction‑free while still encouraging genuine engagement.
Set‑up steps (any platform)
Go to Admin → Integrations.
Click the gear icon next to the platform you’d like to enable.
Toggle Status to Enabled.
For each action you want to offer:
Enter the Points Reward.
Add the Target URL or Hashtag if required.
Click Save. The action tile appears instantly in your storefront loyalty widget.
Repeat for every platform you wish to offer.
Best practices
Balance your rewards. Reserve higher rewards for high‑value actions (e.g., sharing a collection page) and smaller rewards for simpler actions (e.g., follows).
Promote the perks. Announce new social rewards in email, SMS, and on‑site banners to drive early adoption.
Monitor for abuse. If you spot suspicious claiming patterns, lower the reward or disable the action temporarily.

Q: Can Glow confirm the customer actually completed the action?
A: No. Rewards rely on the Good Faith Policy above.
Q: Where do shoppers see these actions?
A: In the loyalty widget under How to Earn Points—visible on desktop and mobile as soon as you enable them.

A: Yes. Go to Settings › Program Branding and set your preferred term (e.g., Glow Bucks, Stars, Beans).

A: Each platform is configured independently. You can enable one or all, depending on what you prefer.
