Glow's Home dashboard includes shortcuts for the setup tasks merchants use most often: the getting started guide, Shopify embedded content blocks, integrations, the setup wizard, rewards, emails, referrals, and referral reporting.

Use these links as a starting point. Some links open another Glow page, while the embedded content links open Shopify so you can add, enable, save, or pin the right Glow block in the correct Shopify surface.

Before you start

You need access to Glow and, for Shopify surfaces, permission to edit the relevant Shopify area.

For example, adding a product page block requires theme editor access, and adding checkout or customer account blocks requires access to Shopify's checkout and account editor. Shopify Admin blocks are added from the specific customer or order page in Shopify Admin.

Open the dashboard setup links

  1. In Glow, go to Home.

  2. Scroll past the status and account summary cards.

  3. Use the dashboard card that matches the setup task you want to work on.

What each setup link does

Launch Guide opens Glow's getting started guide.

Product Page opens the Shopify theme editor for your product template so you can add or manage Glow's product points block.

Checkout Summary opens Shopify's checkout editor on the checkout page.

Thank You Page opens Shopify's checkout editor on the thank you page.

Customer Profile opens Shopify's customer account editor on the customer profile page.

Order Details opens Shopify's checkout editor on the order status page.

Admin Customer Block opens Shopify Admin customers. Open the customer you want, then add or pin the Glow block from that customer page.

Admin Order Block opens Shopify Admin orders. Open the order you want, then add or pin the Glow block from that order page.

Use the other dashboard shortcuts

Lower on the Home dashboard, Glow also includes shortcuts for related setup areas.

Use these links when you want to:

  • Open a social or marketing integration setup page, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Klaviyo, or Judge.me.

  • Revisit the setup wizard with Launch Wizard.

  • Change your rewards with Manage Rewards.

  • Review or customize loyalty email templates with Manage Emails.

  • Set up referrals with Manage Referrals.

  • Review referral activity with Referral Stats.

How to confirm the link worked

For Glow pages, confirm that the page opens and shows the setting you expected.

For Shopify surfaces, finish the setup in Shopify and click Save when Shopify requires it. Then test the customer-facing surface:

  • For product page blocks, open a live product page.

  • For checkout or thank you page blocks, place a test order or use Shopify's checkout editor preview when available.

  • For customer profile or order details blocks, open the matching Shopify customer account or order status surface.

  • For Shopify Admin blocks, open a specific customer or order in Shopify Admin and confirm the Glow block is pinned or visible there.

Common issues

The Shopify editor opens, but the block is not showing yet. Add or enable the Glow block in Shopify, then click Save. The dashboard link opens the correct Shopify area, but Shopify still controls whether the block is placed and saved.

The product page link opens the wrong template. Shopify themes can use different product templates. Make sure you are editing the product template assigned to the product you are testing.

The Admin Customer Block or Admin Order Block link only opens a list. That is expected. Open a specific customer or order in Shopify Admin, then add or pin the block from that record.

Shopify asks you to log in or blocks the page. Sign in to the Shopify admin account that has permission to edit the surface you are opening.
